This week we learned about our Community helpers: The Fire fighters
We learned about the fire Hydrant, where the water comes from, and how the fire fighters use the hose to spray away the fire.
We went outside for a walk to find the fire Hydrants. Everyone was so surprised and excited to find so many of them.
We did a Science experiment and watched how water makes the fire go out.

We learned how to call 911 and say "We Need Help" and place the phone off the hook. (We only call 911 for an emergency).
We worked hard as a community to make our fire station for our bulletin board… We put stickers on the windows…
We learned that we need to crawl outside if there is a fire and if we get some on our clothes we have to "STOP, DROP, AND ROLL". We loved practicing.
